Find answers to common questions about downloading, installing, and using the Sapixcraft resource pack.
- Go to Sapixcraft.com (you're already here!)
- Click "Downloads" in the navbar
- Scroll down and click on Java Edition (you can choose any version - the process is similar for all)
- Scroll down to "Download Sapixcraft Java Edition" and select your Minecraft version (older versions may have some outdated textures)
- Choose your preferred resolution (128x is recommended)
- Check the "Terms of Use" box and click the download button. The .zip file will download.
- Open Minecraft and go to Options → Resource Packs
- Click "Open Resource Packs folder" - a folder will open
- Drag and drop the downloaded .zip file into this folder
- Select Sapixcraft in the resource pack list and click "Done" - you're all set!
The official Bedrock/MCPE version is available on the Minecraft Marketplace. Get it here .
Installation is the same as the base pack. Just make sure to put the add-on pack on top of the base Sapixcraft pack in the resource pack list so it loads correctly.

Resolution refers to the size of each texture in pixels (e.g. 128x means 128×128 pixels). Higher resolutions like 512x look sharper but require more performance. 128x is the recommended balance of quality and performance for most players.
